Alright all of you type junkies, have I got a site for you! Today’s Hot Site – Hype For Type is brand new (released this month) and filled to the brim with all kinds of type and font goodness. It is a place to see all the newest, and best typefaces on display and available for purchase. You will also find a section of fonts that won’t be found anywhere else located under the "Exclusive Faces" button. (And by the way, Rounded Bounce is beautiful!!)

So far you can find many fonts loaded that are urban and hip, yet many maintain a classic retro poster feel to them that would make for great advertisement work. A few of my favorites are "Hello Marzo", "Neo Deco" and "NE Spade". The script fonts are also great, and I could actually see myself using some of them – which is unusual because I tend to try to avoid using script fonts at all! But they are clean and beautifully crafted as are many of the fonts that you will find on this site.

Hype For Type is going to be a very valuable resource for designers world wide. But also, if you yourself are a type designer, you can submit your designs to them. One of the main purposes of this site is to create a place for designers to showcase, sell, and get assistance with their typeface creations. If you have a great design but aren’t sure how to build it, let them know and the developers of Hype For Type will guide you in the right direction.
