Well, my use isn’t very original, I’m afraid. I always have a goal to send more actual letters and I believe that if I won this I would do that. Motivation to send actual letters, especially to people like my grandmother.

Woo hoo!! I’ve been wanting to send out my own custom-designed Christmad cards for… well, I don’t know how many years, but was too cheap (*cough* and lazy *cough*) to do it. If I won these, I may actually send out Chrismas cards this year! Ha ha!

  3. sharon says:

I would use them aa gifts for teachers and family. Very cool prize!

  4. Julia Foster says:

This would be a VERY cool thing to win. I have decided to try and use my photography as a business, and this would be a wonderful way to show my work. It would be much easier than having someone go to a website to see pictures. Way cool!

  5. Jeremey says:

What an awesome giveaway – thanks!
My wife and I adopted a beautiful baby boy in April. We had been trying for kids for 11 years and were blessed to have this little guy come into our lives through adoption. (We actually only had 2 hours notice before going to pick him up!) It has been an incredible experience. In October we finalize the adoption. I would use these cards as invitations to notify our friends and family of our “Adoption Finalization Party”.

  6. Kris says:

I would definitely plan on using these greeting cards to grow my photography business. At this stage in the game the more marketing materials I can get in front of people the better! Thanks Firgs for another great contest!!

  7. Ah, whouldn’t it be nice to have some custom post cards made for my next gallery show! Because I hoping that next month’s group show will just be the beginning for me.

  8. Janine Smith says:

We sell photo note cards to benefit dog rescue groups here in Los Angeles. I print ‘em myself, how nice to have someone else do it!

  9. Ingrid says:

I’d use them as giveaways for a big national dog event that I’m going to have a booth at this fall!

  10. Stacy Ericson says:

I’d use these 1) as a gift to my mom, 80 years and notecards are her way of keeping in touch, and she loves anything with my photos 2)to write to same mom! She doesn’t do email 3)to make a beginning at making what I love into a business! Great giveaway!

  11. Photo Bug says:

Awesome. I think I’m the most excited by the add in – a design by Firgs – but I’d use the cards to sell more of my freelance sports work. I can see if now. In a venue where someone gives their work away I will be able to say “BUY a DVD of your daughter playing Volleyball and I will put it in a card with the best shot on it!”

  12. Dr. Katherine Nell McNeil says:

Firgs is soooo creative..I just love it! I would use these cards in my classroom. I teach high school special education students with behavior disorders. I would have Firg design cards for all occasions that students could purchase with behavior points to give to other students and parents for birthdays, holidays, etc. Most don’t have the money to do this but love giving cool cards if given the chance.

  13. Tye Durbin says:

I would use them as personalized art cards to promote my business or even a good cause. So many possibilities on what you could use them for :) !

  14. Hello, I am a photographer and I am looking for ways to promote my business, aside from my website, weblog and galleries with Zenfolio. I would love to use this to share and show samples of my work to potential clients. I could offer a discount on it for anyone who books mentioning that they have the card. Thank you for the opportunity!

  15. ben capozzi says:

Holy moley, I would use the HECK out of some cards (and hopefully design services)! I’m coordinator for a new digital arts program with high schoolers and community college adults in rural Virginia and I never have time to work on Thank Yous, Greetings, or other promos for the wonderful people who help make our program a success! I’d love to have cards to send to parents, deans, principals, the press, and students –HELP!!

  16. I would get the post cards to promote the photography business I’m starting. I haven’t made a logo yet, and I know your designs ROCK! xoxoxo

  17. bobwyo says:

Oh, there must be 250 things! But primarily, I’d use it to get my photography in front of more eyes. A great promo piece, I think.

  18. Firgs says:

Sarah is sadly ineligible as she lives in the UK. :( She wrote to me and asked me to remove her comment. But I just want her to know that I wish her all the best in her endeavors to get out of her cubicle!

  19. Dina S. says:

I am fresh out of college and working on starting my own photo business because I dont want to be at my retail job forever!
I have been working my hardest to promote myself and get out there but my money is limited in terms of buying promo products etc!

  20. Clayton says:

Great giveaway. I’d use the postcards to send to potential clients for my freelance design company I am starting. I need to get things rolling so that I can stay home with our 2 month old son.

  21. Jason says:

500 Greeting cards – hmmm, I think I would probably take some cool design graphic, emblazon that on the cards with a little more flair and then distribute them to subdivisions locally to see if that might kick start a little more interest in some photography work!

  23. This is something I am actually looking at doing before the holidays. I would put my art work on the cards and offer them as gift, birthday, or holiday greeting cards.

    Thanks,

I had a bunch of business cards printed up before I completely changed my idea of what I wanted to do with my life. I’ve wanted a bunch of new ones, but I wanted a cool design I could be proud of. Some sweet new business cards or a new design would be perfect to get me going and make me seem all cool-like :)
