I don’t really want to get into how I felt about this story, but after reading it, I felt obligated to pass it on to my fellow bloggers. I think it was the most important piece of information that was released last week and I really want to encourage all bloggers to read it!! I believe decisions like this are going to effect us all. What do you think?
______
The Layers Magazine website got a makeover! It’s now more streamlined, much easier to find articles, and loaded up with tutorials on all of the new Adobe CS5 programs! Positively drool-worthy!!!!

I actually knew about Leonard’s Twitter account and his photography before Scott tweeted this. The reason why I gave it the re-tweet and included it here, is that Leonard is actually a really great photographer! If you haven’t seen his images yes, I very much recommend browsing his gallery.

Love love love this collection of Rain Photography on Onextrapixel this week. If you are looking for a moment of Zen and maybe a new website to add to your RSS, this is it!

I follow @rogieking because he is fun. I like fun. I’m a fan of fun. So when he put this tweet out, I followed the link in search of fun. He was right, I found it. Mad Mimi is a email marketing creation system that reminds me of digital scrapbooking. If you are looking for an easy to use, and fun way of keeping up with your clients, this could be it.

As a logo designer, I really enjoyed seeing this photo. Sometimes it’s the behind the scenes work on something that really makes you appreciate the time, work, energy and beauty that it takes to develop a good brand. I am also a regular visitor of Grahm’s website imjustcreative.com as he is one of my favorite logo designers.
______
I snagged this tweet for two reasons, one- it’s no secret that I am a fan of Rands, and two- I was thinking of my girl @Landailyn who is a huge history buff! I started out reading it just so that I could tell her about it, but then realized just how interesting this article on the history of libraries was! It’s so full of interesting stories, great pictures and random facts! It’s a totally fun read.
______
Coding Informer is a great new extension of one of my favorite design sites – Design Informer. It is however, so new, that the site isn’t live yet. But the Twitter account is already kicking butt putting out great links like this one. I really think that once it get’s rolling, CI is going to be a valuable resource to code junkies.
