This one wins my vote for favorite Tweet of the week! The news was announced this week that Amazon purchased the ever-so-popular, one-deal-a-day website Woot! By way of announcing the deal, Woot! created this very clever and rockin’ video. It’s so great I almost want to add it to my iPod.

This past Friday wasn’t just slow for Smashingmag, it felt slow for me as well. So when they posted this tweet, I was quick to click it. What I got can only be explained by the images in this whimsical collection of photos.

This is a very cool idea. Sometimes it’s the personal touch that makes the biggest impact. With this fun program from Pilot you can create a font set of your own handwriting to use in emails. Kind of cool huh? :)

I have seen multiple “How to make fire” tutorials over the years but none of them compare to this one. When I first looked at it, I thought it was overly complicated and I wasn’t to sure. But after several viewings and testing it out myself, I realized that it covers loads of the features in Photoshop and you end up with a really realistic effect. This tutorial gets an A+!!!
